A teacher at Lindale Middle School was found dead in his Linthicum apartment last night, an apparent suicide, Anne Arundel police said.

The manner of death was not released.

Police said they received a 911 call at 7 p.m. reporting that a man had been found dead in the bathroom of an apartment in the 300 block of Hampton Road.

Authorities confirmed that the man was Kevyn B. Nee, 48.

It was not immediately known how long he had been dead.

According to the school's Web site, Nee had been department chairman for special education.
