MR. JOHN W. JACK TOMLINSON, 80, of 605-D Marsh Drive Quincy Village, Quincy, PA and Bradenton, FL died at 4:44 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2002 in his home after losing a battle with cancer. Born April 27, 1922 in Altoona, PA he was the son of the late John W. and Ruth (Applegate) Tomlinson. He and his wife, Mrs. Ida May Peck (Marriott) Tomlinson, were married November 26, 1946 in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Tomlinson was president of Monumental Millwork, Inc., in Westminster, MD for 50 years, retiring in 2000. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Janice Gutierrez, Mechanicsburg, PA, Denise Tomlinson, Baltimore, MD and Sharon Whipple, Finksburg, MD; three grandchildren; and one brother Richard Tomlinson, McDaniel, MD. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2002 in Otterbein United Brethren in Christ Church, 810 Park Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Bill Schuit officiating.
