Eugene F. "Frank" Langan, a retired salesman who enjoyed boating, died of Alzheimer's disease Monday at ManorCare Health Services in Ruxton. He was 75.
Mr. Langan was born in Upper Darby, Pa., and raised in Washington. After his graduation from Gonzaga High School there in 1945, he served as a radar specialist in the Army.
He earned his bachelor's degree from St. Joseph University in Philadelphia in 1953, and moved to Towson in 1956. He was a salesman for Inland Steel Container Co., and later Maryland Glass Co., from which he retired in the late 1980s.
Mr. Langan enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and in the British Virgin Islands.
He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Community of Hunt Valley, 13717 Cuba Road, where a memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Anne D. "Nancy" McGonigle; a son, E. Francis Langan III of Ocean Pines; three daughters, Sharon L. Harrison and Marybeth L. Dembeck, both of Timonium, and Jeanne L. McDonnell of Phoenix, Baltimore County; a brother, Thomas J. Langan of Bethesda; a sister, Elizabeth O'Neill of New Jersey; and 11 grandchildren.
