Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Arson: A Molotov cocktail was thrown at the window of a house in the 1000 block of N. Collington Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. No one inside was injured, but the flammable concoction burned a window frame.
Burglary: A 9 mm pistol stashed under a baby-changing table and a video game system were reported stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Maisel Court between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3800 block of Sixth St. on Sunday and stole two coffee cans containing $80 in coins.
Robbery: A 45-year-old man was hit in the head in the 3000 block of Foster Ave. and dragged into an alley about 4 p.m. Saturday. The robbers took $50 from the victim's pocket.
Theft from vehicle: Stereo equipment valued at $1,200 was discovered missing from a 1994 Mazda about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Claremont Ave. The ignition had been popped out, but the thief apparently was unable to start and steal the car.
Burglary: Three weed-cutters valued at $900 and other tools were stolen from a shed in the 4400 block of Adelle Terrace sometime Saturday or Sunday.
Robbery: A man selling newspapers in the 7000 block of Liberty Road about 12:20 p.m. Sunday was robbed at gunpoint by two men. The robbers fled with $100.
Burglary: Between 4 p.m. Friday and shortly after midnight Sunday, someone broke into three portable classrooms at Millbrook Elementary School in the 4300 block of Crest Heights Road and stole a Dell computer and monitor.
Assault/hate crime: About 1:45 a.m. Saturday, a white patron of the Pikesville Hilton Inn uttered a racial slur and tossed a small sign at a black clerk during a confrontation, striking the clerk in the mouth. No arrest was made.
Burglary: Thieves climbed the fence of the Silver Birch Swim Club in the 100 block of Pleasant Hill Road between 11:30 a.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday and stole several hundred dollars' worth of food from the snack bar area.
Auto theft/arrests: Two men and a woman from Howard County were arrested Sunday afternoon on charges of auto theft and possessing drug paraphernalia after patrol Officer Kristin Spakowski checked the tags of a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville that pulled into a Mobil gas station on near Towson Town Center, and found it had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
