BRIDGETOWN - A man killed early Sunday in a single-car accident on a Caroline County road has been identified by state police as an airman assigned to Dover Air Force Base, Del.

The victim, 20-year-old Aaron Donta Paden, was northbound on Route 312 near Bridgetown about 1 a.m. when he lost control of his 1997 Nissan Sentra, left the road and struck several trees.

Police said Paden died at the scene and that his passenger, Christina Johnson, 18, also of Dover, was injured and flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
