Robbery: A gunman robbed Pat's Food Market in the 300 block of Cornwall St. of $200 about 2 p.m. Monday.
Robbery: A woman was assaulted and robbed of her purse about noon Monday in the 3300 block of E. Fayette St.
Theft: Items valued at more than $4,000, including a laptop computer, clothing, compact discs and a camera, were stolen Monday from a Dodge van in the 100 block of S. President St.

Woodlawn Precinct
Robbery: An employee was leaving Salvo Auto Parts in the 7000 block of Liberty Road at 5:20 p.m. Monday on his way to make a bank deposit when a gunman robbed him of an undisclosed sum of cash and checks.
Essex Precinct
Burglary: An unknown number of coins were stolen between Saturday and Monday from coin-operated laundry machines in basement laundry rooms at the Hyde Park Apartments in the 1100 block of Tace Drive.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: A laptop computer valued at $3,000 was stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Tommy True Court.
