Communities, developers to meet on 'conditional-use' proposals

Developers planning subdivisions in eastern Howard County and landowners planning projects that require "conditional-use" permission must meet with neighbors before submitting plans to the county. The next scheduled meetings are:

2 p.m. Saturday at West Liberty United Methodist Church, 2000 Sand Hill Road, Marriottsville, about a conditional-use project at the church.

5:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at 9691 Norfolk Ave., North Laurel, about the Hillside at Rocky Gorge, 10475 Scaggsville Road, a proposed subdivision of two units on 3.5 acres.

5:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at 9691 Norfolk Ave., North Laurel, about Hickory Hills, 10643 Scaggsville Road, a proposed subdivision of eight units on 5 acres.

6 p.m. Sept. 5 at Mildenberg, Boender & Associates Inc., 5072 Dorsey Hall Drive, Suite 202, Ellicott City, about the Welk property, 10116 Owen Brown Road, a proposed subdivision of four units on 2 acres.

7 p.m. Sept. 5 at Rockland United Methodist Church, 8971 Chapel Ave., Ellicott City, about a conditional-use project at the church.
