LIBERTYTOWN - An 8-year-old boy died yesterday evening after falling off a hayride in Frederick County, the sheriff's office said.

The boy fell off the ride on Fountain School Road, in the rural Libertytown area, about 5 p.m. and was run over by the wagon. He was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he died.

The Frederick County sheriff's office released no other details last night.
