Aberdeen woman dies in collision on I-95

THE BALTIMORE SUN

An Aberdeen woman was killed last night when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle on Interstate 95 in Harford County, and it was hit by a tractor-trailer, state police said.

The victim, Aromelle Darnice Drake, 44, of the 900 block of Cambridge Ave., was driving north near the Route 24 exit when the crash occurred about 8 p.m., police said. The rig also was northbound.

Northbound traffic was detoured around the crash scene for more than three hours, and the accident remained under investigation early today, police said.

An article in yesterday's editions about an Aberdeen woman killed Thursday night on Interstate 95 near the Route 24 exits in Harford County incorrectly identified her. Her name was Romelle Darnice Drake.
