Western District
Body identified: A man found dead near railroad tracks under the Edmondson Avenue bridge has been identified as Michael McCoy, 47, of the 3900 block of Fairfax Road. Police said McCoy was seen on the bridge wall about 7 p.m. Monday, moments before falling more than 40 feet to his death. The incident remains under investigation.
Southern District
Theft: A combination radio/compact disc player valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from a 1995 Geo parked in the 3500 block of Third St.
Southeastern District
Burglary: Tires, toys, lawn-care equipment and fishing gear -- all valued at nearly $2,000 -- were stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 1100 block of Broening Highway.
Theft: Tools valued at $1,200 were stolen Wednesday from a Dodge truck parked in the 2600 block of Eastern Ave.
Eastern District
Theft: A laptop computer and stereo equipment -- all valued at about $2,750 -- and $250 in cash were stolen Wednesday from a 1994 Nissan Maxima parked in the 1500 block of McElderry St.
Northern District
Burglary: Three bicycles valued at nearly $300 were stolen Wednesday from Hallie's second-hand store in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave.
Purse snatch: A woman, 41, was walking in the 3100 block of Greenmount Ave. about 2 p.m. Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property -- all valued at more than $100.
Baltimore County
Towson Precinct
Robbery: Two males, 18 and 19, were walking outside a store at Towson Market Place in the 1200 block of Putty Hill Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when two other males, one with a handgun and the other a stun gun, robbed them of $15.
Burglary: Jewelry and coins -- all valued at nearly $4,200 -- were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Loch Shiel Road by someone who entered through a rear basement door Wednesday.
Garrison Precinct
Theft/arrests: A 2001 Yamaha all-terrain vehicle valued at $3,000 was stolen Wednesday from the yard of a house in the 3800 block of Dovedale Court in Randallstown. Later, police arrested two teen-age boys and recovered the ATV from the home of one. The boys were charged as juveniles and released to their parents' custody.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder, videotapes and a citizens band radio -- all valued at $630 -- were stolen Wednesday from two company-owned trucks of Ryan Moving & Storage in the 1200 block of 65th St.
North Point Precinct
Theft: Three thousand pounds of scrap aluminum valued at nearly $1,000 was stolen Wednesday from a storage area of Bethlehem Steel in the 5100 block of North Point Blvd.
