Devil Rays update

There's no truth to the rumor that the Devil Rays' fans have voted to strike. No team has fewer road wins than Tampa Bay's 16, or a worse overall winning percentage of .333. Within the American League, only the Cleveland Indians (.248) have a lower team batting average than the Devil Rays' .251. But they come into this series with an 8-7 record against the Orioles this season, including 3-2 at Camden Yards. The Devil Rays' bullpen is under construction again. Jesus Colome was optioned to Triple-A Durham yesterday, with rookie Lee Gardner taking his place. Gardner led the International League with 25 saves. The Devil Rays have lost six games after leading with two outs in the ninth inning. Wilson has beaten the Orioles three times this season. Thursday's game is a makeup from an April 9 postponement.
