Baltimore City
Southwestern District
Robbery/arrests: A man, 37, was walking in the 2200 block of Booth St. about 5 a.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $40. The pair rode off in a 1997 Nissan sport utility vehicle that was spotted, pursued and stopped by Officer Charles Hinkel in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. A BB pistol thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit and believed used in the robbery was recovered. Arrested and charged with armed robbery were Eddie Young, 37, of the 2800 block of The Alameda, and Tracy Carter, 33, of the 1800 block of Colmar Road.
Southeastern District
Shootings: Police were seeking two gunmen who forced their way into a house in the 1400 block of Stromeyer Way in O"Donnell Heights early Tuesday, entered a bedroom and shot a woman, 19, in the right leg and a man, 21, in the chest. The victims were treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Eastern District
Stolen vehicle: A white, four- door 1990 Chrysler with tags JWV 770 was stolen Tuesday in the 1100 block of Darley Ave.
Southern District
Theft: A suitcase containing clothing, cosmetics and a cellular phone charger - all valued at nearly $900 - was stolen Tuesday from a Ford truck parked in the 400 block of S. Charles St.
Northern District
Burglary: A television, stereo equipment, compact disc player and a bicycle - all valued at more than $1,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of St. Paul St.
Baltimore County
White Marsh Precinct
Rape: A woman, 21, said she was standing at Pulaski Highway and Conkling Street about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday when a man driving a pickup truck stopped and forced her into the vehicle at knifepoint. The man then drove into Baltimore County where, she said, she was raped in a wooded area off Todds Lane near Rosedale.
North Point Precinct
Carjack try: A woman, 33, was about to enter her car outside the North Point library in the 1700 block of Merritt Blvd. about 6 p.m. Tuesday when a man demanded her keys while threat ening her. Instead of complying, the woman kicked the man in the groin, causing him to flee. The woman drove to the precinct and reported the incident.
Cockeysville Precinct
Stolen vehicles: At least two people broke into a trailer at a Towson Ford auto storage lot in the 200 block of Old Padonia Road on Tuesday and removed three computer chip keys and stole two 2003 Ford Windstar vans, each worth more than $28,000.
Essex Precinct
Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $1,300 was stolen from a house in the 2100 block of Sunnythorn Road between June 30 and Aug. 4 while the occupant was in the process of moving. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
Towson Precinct
Theft: After workers left a house in the 1000 block of Cloverlea Road on Monday, the occupants discovered that jewelry valued at $80,000 was missing.
Burglary: Two watches and coins - all valued at nearly $800 - were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle.
