Gourlay new vice president of trade center institute
The World Trade Center Institute announced the appointment of Peter R. Gourlay as vice president for business development. He will provide WTCI client-members with insights into the risks and opportunities of doing business abroad. Gourlay was previously with CNA Financial Corp., where he assisted clients in the construction and design fields with overseas business. The Marine Corps veteran is a graduate of Frostburg State University.

1st Mariner names Patrick to Severna Park post
1st Mariner Bank has named Jutta Patrick assistant vice president of its Severna Park branch operation. She will be responsible for customer development and customer relations. Formerly a customer service manager for Provident Bank, Patrick is active with the Severna Park Elks Club and the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce.
Meares to manage branch of Key Bank and Trust
Key Bank and Trust announced that Julian Meares has joined the bank as business development officer and manager of its Bel Air branch. A graduate of Syracuse University, he is a former financial specialist with Wachovia Corp. A Forest Hill resident, he is active in church youth activities and teaches Sunday school, and is a coach in community youth athletic programs.

Gordon, Feinblatt elects Ingle, Dalal as members
Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman Hoffberger & Hollander announced the election of Robert H. Ingle III and Ankur P. Dalal as members of the firm.
Ingle, assigned to the firm's employment and employee benefits practice, will advise employers on labor-related legal issues. A member of the Maryland bar, he is a law graduate of the University of Maryland and lives in Howard County. Dalal, a law graduate of Syracuse University, will be assigned to the firm's employment law and business law practice groups. He is also a resident of Howard County.

Kiernan to supervise KCI Technologies office
KCI Technologies Inc., based in Hunt Valley, has named Marianne Kiernan senior associate and head of the Laurel office, where she will supervise a staff of 31 and oversee its transition into new growth markets. An engineering graduate of Villanova University, the Potomac resident is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
