Meet Sadie, our new advice columnist.

She's otherwise known as Marnie Winston-Macauley, a free-lance writer who holds a master's in social group work from Columbia University in New York. (She also earned a bachelor's degree in experimental psychology there.)

During our recent tryout of advice columnists to succeed Ann Landers, Winston-Macauley's syndicated column, "Ask Sadie," struck a chord with many readers who liked her no-nonsense style.

Winston-Macauley, who lives in Las Vegas, is also the host of a syndicated radio show, Ask Sadie Live.

"Dear Abby" was another favorite among readers. That column appears Monday through Saturday in the Today section. Look for "Ask Sadie" in Home & Family. It's on Page 4 today.
