A Churchton man was killed yesterday when the motorcycle he was riding slammed into a tree at Rockhold Creek Road near Route 258, Anne Arundel County police said.

Daryl George Bailey, 24, was driving his motorcycle recklessly, witnesses told police, when he lost control.

Bailey went off the right side of the road and slid 200 feet across a grassy field into a tree, according to a police report.

Bailey, of 1144 Delaware Ave., was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. at Anne Arundel Medical Center, police said.
