A Baltimore man was killed in Greenlawn Shores late Sunday when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by another vehicle, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Richard Gilles Brown, 48, of the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. in Brooklyn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Brown was northbound on his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Marley Neck Boulevard near Green Acres Drive when a southbound BMW driven by Robert Cedric Johnson Jr. of the 7900 block of Liberty Circle in Pasadena crossed the double-yellow line and hit the motorcycle.

Johnson was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was treated and released.

An investigation into the accident is continuing, police said.
