Couple found shot in home in Frederick

THE BALTIMORE SUN

FREDERICK -- A man and a woman were found shot in the head early yesterday at their Frederick home in what police indicated may have been an intended murder-suicide.

Julio Falcon, 44, died of his injuries, and his wife, Tina Marie Falcon, 41, was on life support at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Lt. Thomas V. Chase of the Frederick Police Department said the couple were discovered in the kitchen of the home on Everly Drive about 9:45 a.m. by their daughters, who are in their 20s.

Chase said Tina Marie Falcon was unconscious but breathing, and both had been shot once in the head.

"We believe we have a domestic shooting-type situation," Chase said, adding that police were trying to establish details of what occurred and when, and who fired the shots.

Police recovered a semiautomatic handgun from the house.
