Charles County man charged in string of Anne Arundel, Howard robberies

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Howard County police have charged a Charles County man with crimes related to 13 robberies in Howard and Anne Arundel counties.

Brian Keith Doukas, 29, of the 15100 block of Potomac River Drive, Cobb Island, was arrested by Anne Arundel police Tuesday after a witness reported that he fled the scene of an attempted robbery, authorities said.

Police believe Doukas was involved in a string of robberies in the past several days.

Howard County officials charged Doukas with several crimes, including four counts of robbery. Anne Arundel police charged him with armed robbery, theft and robbery.

Both departments said they are continuing to investigate.

Doukas, who was also wanted in Anne Arundel on an unrelated assault charge, was being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center last night on $207,500 bail. Of that, $200,000 was for the assault charge and $7,500 was for the robbery charges.
