Baltimore City
Central District
Shooting/arrest: A 16-year-old male was arrested Monday night and charged as an adult with attempted murder in the shooting that evening of another teen-age boy in the 500 block of Baker St. Members of a city police tactical squad heard several shots and found the victim with a bullet wound to the face. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released. Arrested inside a nearby vacant house was Terrell Lamont Jackson of the 1100 block of N. Bentalou St. Police recovered a loaded Ruger 9 mm handgun believed used in the shooting. In addition to attempted murder, Jackson also is charged with first- and second-degree assault and a handgun violation.
Western District
Carjacking/arrests: Four males, one with a handgun, carjacked a 1990 Volvo in the 1900 block of N. Bentalou St. about 2 a.m. Monday. A short time later near the scene, police stopped the car and arrested two men and two teen males. A .22-caliber revolver believed used in the carjacking was recovered.
Southwestern District
Robbery: A man, 73, was walking toward his car in the 1500 block of Joh Ave. about 12:20 p.m. Monday with a bag containing $100 in dimes when a man robbed him of the coins and escaped in a yellow Ford sedan driven by female.
Baltimore County
North Point Precinct
Robbery: Four teen-age males, one with a gun, robbed two boys of their off-road vehicles about 6:30 p.m. Monday in a field off the 6800 block of Quad Ave.
Garrison Precinct
Robbery: A 10-year-old boy was riding his bicycle in the 400 block of Chartley Park Drive about 6:30 p.m. Monday when an older male knocked him to the ground and stole it. The bicycle was later found behind Chartley Shopping Center.
