Glen Burnie woman, 41, killed in car accident

PASADENA - A Glen Burnie woman was killed Friday in a car accident on Route 100 in Pasadena.

Robin Purkey, 41, of the 100 block of Oak Spring Drive was driving a 1999 Ford Mustang west on Route 100, west of Edwin Raynor Boulevard, about 12:40 p.m. when her car crossed a lane of traffic, went into the median and struck the center ditch, according to state police.

Purkey, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, police said. She was taken to North Arundel Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
