Patterson's Bobby Oxendine was 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two stolen bases to lead Baltimore to a 16-4 win over Washington yesterday in the fourth annual Baltimore-Washington Parkway Classic baseball game.

Oxendine capped a three-run fourth for Baltimore with a two-run homer. That put the 10-run rule in effect, and the game was called after Washington went scoreless in the top of the fifth.

Baltimore broke the game open in the second, scoring eight runs to take a 13-1 lead. Daymien Sheppard (Carver) hit a two-run single in the inning.

Northern's Melvin Hodges got Baltimore started with a two-run double as part of a five-run first inning.

Dunbar's Clarence Young also had a good offensive day, with a triple and a single to go along with two RBIs and a stolen base.

Shawn Thomas (Poly) started on the mound, going three innings and striking out three. Kenneth Estep (Northern) pitched the last two innings, striking out four.
