Barbara Ganley, 64, homemaker, secretary

Barbara Ganley, a homemaker and former secretary, died Thursday of a brain tumor at her Millersville home. She was 64.

In the 1960s, she had been secretary to the personnel director of the National Security Agency at Fort Meade

Born Barbara Praley on a farm in Millersville, she was a 1955 graduate of Glen Burnie High School.

Mrs. Ganley kept a small garden and enjoyed cooking. She worked crossword puzzles and was a Jeopardy fan. She was a member of Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, where a Mass was offered Monday.

She is survived by William P. Ganley, her husband of nearly 40 years; three brothers, Edward Praley Sr. and Albert Praley, both of Glen Burnie, and Frank Praley Jr. of Hanover; and two sisters, Anna Bender of New Orleans and Dolores Graham of Glen Burnie.
