Travel restrictions, tips offered during airport construction

Because of construction at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, the airport offers the following travel tips and restrictions:

Travelers are advised to use Interstate 195 to reach the airport terminal building and hourly parking garage. Only customers returning rental cars should use Elm Road.

Areas inside the garage on levels two through six have been designated as construction zones for the installation of an enclosed moving sidewalk on level six.

Construction is taking place in the garden area near the garage from Pier B to the international pier.

Pedestrian bridges have been removed at Piers B and D, and entrances to the terminal at Pier D have been closed. Passengers are advised to use the pedestrian bridge at Pier C or the tunnel on level one of the garage to enter the terminal building.

Information and construction updates: www.bwiairport.com, 800-I-FLY-BWI or tune-in to 1040 AM within 5 miles of the airport.
