Taylor Technologies names new art director
Taylor Technologies has named Shawn Sutphen as art director. Sutphen, who previously was with American Color Graphics, will work to improve product packaging and promotional materials for the Sparks-based manufacturer of water-testing supplies. A graduate of the Bradley Academy of the Visual Arts, Sutphen lives in New Oxford, Pa.

Rohde, Krivak appointed Provident vice presidents
Provident Bank announced the appointments of Ray G. Rohde and Kelly Krivak as vice presidents for the Baltimore-based bank.
Rohde, a Baltimore resident and 23-year banking industry veteran, is the commercial banking electronic cash management product manager for the bank. Formerly with Chase Manhattan Bank of Maryland, he earned a master's degree at the University of Baltimore. Krivak, who lives in Lutherville, is the bank's operations manager. She received her MBA from Loyola College.
Wasson named director at Legg Mason Inc.
Legg Mason Wood Walker Inc. has named Chris Wasson as the trading and investment firm's director of NASDAQ/OTC trading for its brokerage subsidiary, Legg Mason Inc. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he was formerly with Robert W. Baird & Co. A Baltimore resident, he is a member of the Security Traders Association and a board member of the Mid-Atlantic Traders Association.

Decision Systems makes two appointments
Decision Systems Technologies Inc. named Errol E. Julien as controller and Sandra W. Davis as director of business development.
Julien, a graduate of the American University, will be responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department and will provide assistance to the offices of the president and chief financial officer. Davis, formerly with Computer Associates International, holds master's degrees from George Washington University and California State University, Sacramento and will develop strategic relationships with Fortune 500 companies for the Rockville-based technology, engineering and science solutions and support firm.

Badr named associate of Towson consulting firm
Wallace, Montgomery & Associates LLP announced that Shahir Badr has joined the Towson-based environmental and engineering consulting firm as an associate. Formerly a vice president with Kennedy Porter & Associates, he earned a master's degree in civil engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of the Karnak Program, which allows for the automation of overweight permits applications.
