Ceremony to be tomorrow at Sawmill Skate Park
County officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Sawmill Skate Park at 11 a.m. tomorrow at 301 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie.
The park, open seven days a week to skateboarders and in-line skaters only, includes ramps, a 5-foot-high half pipe, quarter pipes and a fun box. Participants must pay an admission fee and wear helmets and elbow and knee pads. An adult must accompany children age 12 and younger.

Annapolis-Edgewater bus to be offered on trial basis
The Annapolis Department of Transit will offer bus service on a trial basis from Annapolis to Edgewater starting July 8.
For four weeks, buses will leave from the Spa Road Transfer Point at 932 Spa Road at 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and noon and arrive in Edgewater 20 minutes later. Buses will depart from Edgewater at 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The Edgewater stops are the Kmart at South River Colony and South River High School.
The bus fare is $1.50 each way, or 75 cents if transferring from another Annapolis Transit bus. Riders can also use their monthly bus pass, and a special youth pass is available for $25 for travel by 12- to 18-year-olds through Labor Day.
