Michael Anthony Amoss, who coached youth recreation football, died from complications of kidney disease Tuesday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was 39.

Mr. Amoss, who battled kidney disease throughout his life and did not work, underwent a kidney transplant last year.

A dog fancier, he was especially fond of his bloodhound, Stonewall.
