Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man entered Allfirst Bank in the first block of S. Charles St. about 1 p.m. Tuesday and ordered a teller to give him money. The man escaped with an undisclosed sum.
Western District
Robbery: A man, 28, was using a pay telephone outside an Amoco station in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $600.
Southern District
Robbery: A 33-year-old woman was walking in the 800 block of W. Lombard St. about 10 a.m. Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property - all valued at $50.
Theft: Three mountain bicycles - all valued at $3,300 - were stolen Tuesday from the rear yard of a house in the 100 block of Gittings St.
Northeastern District
Theft of dog: A white and brown female boxer named Sheeba was stolen Monday from the rear yard of a house in the 1300 block of Northbourne Road.
Southeastern District
Theft from vehicle: School books and an AM-FM stereo compact disc player - all valued at $850 - were stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Toyota Corolla parked in the 1700 block of E. Preston St.
Burglary: Power and hand tools and a 27-foot extension ladder - all valued at $1,665 - were stolen between Saturday and Tuesday from a house in the 3300 block of Esther Place.
Stolen vehicle: A beige 1997 Toyota with tags M375547 and equipped with an alarm and a steering column locking device was stolen Tuesday in the 1800 block of E. Pratt St.
Northern District
Theft: Two wrought-iron planters valued at $750 were stolen Tuesday from the front porch of an apartment in the 4400 block of N. Charles St.
Baltimore County
North Point Precinct
Burglary: A .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver and a .22- caliber Phoenix-brand handgun - all valued at $438 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3100 block of Shortway.
Arrest: A male, 15, was arrested Tuesday when he attempted to leave Sears at the Eastpoint Mall without paying for video games and a carrying bag - all valued at $280.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: Two dirt bikes - valued at more than $7,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 2900 block of Manns Ave.
