THE BALTIMORE SUN

If you'd like to attend this summer's Maryland Arts Festival at Towson University, you have to move fast. Because of coming renovations to the university's Center for the Arts, there's just one show this year - Cole, which opens a five-performance run tonight.

A 1974 musical revue devised by Benny Green and Alan Strachan, Cole is a compilation of three dozen songs by Cole Porter, including such chestnuts as "Night and Day," "Begin the Beguine" and "I Get a Kick Out of You."

Scott Susong directs an ensemble that features Wendy Baird, Dan Herrel, Leah V. Inger, David Minges, John Oliver, Terence R. Sullivan, Christen Susong and Lauren Williams. Musical direction is by Doug Yetter.

Show times at the Center for the Arts, Osler and Cross Campus drives, are 8 tonight-Saturday night, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $18. Call 410-704-2787.
