The Westminster Branch Library invites children to a day at the theater on Saturday, when the Carroll County School for the Performing Arts' Musical Theatre class presents You're a Good Man Charlie Brown! Kids ages 5 and up can start off at the library at 1:30 p.m., enjoying stories, songs and coloring. Then they'll walk down Main Street to Westminster's old fire hall to see the play.

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown! brings all the familiar characters from the Peanuts comic strip to the stage for a lighthearted musical celebration of the round-headed underdog. There will be songs about security blankets, baseball games, book reports and supper time.

The program will last approximately one hour and 45 minutes. It's free, but registration is required. Visit the library, 50 E. Main St., or call 410-386-4490 to register. There will be a second free performance of the play at the old fire hall Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
