Jeffrey D. Staniewski, 26, computer administrator

A Mass was offered Monday for Jeffrey David Staniewski, a computer systems administrator who died Thursday at Sinai Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Interstate 83 in Timonium.

He was 26 and lived in Cockeysville.

Born in Baynesville and raised in Cockeysville, he was a 1993 graduate of Dulaney High School, where he played lacrosse on the school's varsity team.

A systems administrator for Sensys Development Laboratories in Annapolis Junction, he was completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Baltimore. He also earned Microsoft certification.

He enjoyed mountain biking, lacrosse and outdoor recreation.

Services were held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Texas, where he was a member.

He is survived by his parents, David and Betty Pfister Staniewski; a brother, Stephen James Staniewski; and a sister, Caitlin Elizabeth Staniewski, all of Cockeysville.
