Services for Raynaldo Mark Allen, a barber who was fatally shot Monday outside a downtown nightclub, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel AME Church, 1300 Druid Hill Ave., where he was a member.
Mr. Allen, who was 27, lived in the city's Mondawmin area. He was a men's haircutter at Asiatic's Cutz Barber Shop in the Northwood Shopping Center, and earlier at shops in East Baltimore.
Born in the city and raised in the Hollander Ridge neighborhood, Mr. Allen attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and graduated from Lake Clifton High School in 1992.
He enjoyed painting, sketching, sculpting and raising pit bulls.
He is survived by a 2-year-old son, Raynaldo Mark Allen Jr.; a daughter, Shiray Allen, 8; his mother, Liberata "Glenda" Allen-Roberson; a brother, Robert Michael Allen Sr.; and his fiancee, Tenaka Robinson. All are of Baltimore.
