The Mount Airy library branch, 705 Ridge Ave., is offering several programs this month.
They include:
"Year-round Story Time" for all ages (age 3 and younger must be with an adult) at 11 a.m. today, "Picnic Fun," and at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday, "Royalty."
"Peter Rabbit's Great Adventure Puppet Show" for all ages (children age 3 and younger with an adult) at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today. Children can follow Peter as he explores a garden.
"Dads Are Great" for all ages (children age 3 and younger with an adult) at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Stories and a craft celebrating fathers will be offered.
"The Magic of Roger Lindsay" for all ages (children age 3 and younger with an adult) at 7 p.m. Wednesday and 1:30 p.m. June 21. Illusions, magic and Prop, the Magic Bunny, will be featured. Tickets are required.
"Hot Times at Hollywood High - Mystery at the Library - Millennium Teens" for ages 11 to 17 at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Participants can assume the role of a suspicious character at Hollywood High to find out who tried to kill Miss Terry Daktill. Registration is required.
"An American Girl Picnic with Molly" for ages 4 to 10 at 2 p.m. Thursday. Children will have a snack from the World War II era, the setting for a play about how people had to make do with less. Participants should take a blanket for the picnic and a can of food for Mount Airy NET.
"Bedtime Stories" for all ages (children age 3 and younger with an adult) at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Shannon Plaut completes Marines' basic training
Marine Corps Pfc. Shannon R. Plaut has completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Plaut completed 12 weeks of academic, military and physical fitness training to graduate.
He is the son of Carol and William Plaut of Woodbine.
Stefan Buckman serves Pacific tour with Marines
Marine Corps Cpl. Stefan D. Buckman has completed a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while assigned to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Buckman was one of more than 10,000 sailors and Marines aboard the ships of the USS John C. Stennis Carrier Battle Group and USS Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group who participated in the operation.
Crew members also completed humanitarian and civic projects along the coast of Kenya, including building a small school and doing carpentry work at a school for the deaf.
Buckman is a 1998 graduate of South Carroll High School.
