Glenelg Band memory book being planned

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Glenelg Band alumni are being sought to help compile a memory book in recognition of the band's 25-year record of earning highest ratings at the District 8 Band Festival, sponsored by the Maryland Music Educators Association.

Short accounts of members' experiences with the band are needed from each year. The memories - along with the writer's name, e-mail address, street address and the year he or she was a member of the band - should be sent to GlenelgBand25yrs@hotmail. com, or Glenelg Band 25 Year Celebration, 14025 Burnt Woods Road, Glenelg 21737.

The memory books will be distributed in December, when the school plans to open its new music wing.
