Senior center, hospital to sponsor medication seminar
Pasadena Senior Center and North Arundel Hospital will co-sponsor a medication "Brown Bag" session at 10 a.m. June 27 at the senior center, in Lake Shore Plaza on Mountain Road.
Carolyn Mason, a North Arundel Hospital pharmacist, will provide information on medication safety. Participants are encouraged to bring a list of the medications they are taking - or the medicines themselves - so the pharmacist can alert participants to possible drug interactions or side effects.

O'Malley center offers AARP safe-driving class
O'Malley Senior Center will sponsor a "55 Alive" safe driving course from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 26 and 27 at the center, 1275 Odenton Road.
The two-day workshop on vehicle safety for older drivers will be conducted by a representative of AARP. Some insurance companies offer premium discounts to older drivers who complete the course.

Trips planned: South County Senior Center is offering two trips for seniors. The first trip, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, will be to Lilly Langtry's Theatre in King of Prussia, Pa., to see Legends in Concert, featuring impersonators of Jerry Lee Lewis, Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, Tina Turner and Tom Jones. Meal choice must be made at time of reservation. The cost is $55. The second trip, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 26, will feature an Odyssey cruise and a visit to the National Arboretum.
