Air Canada Jazz to add two flights to Toronto from BWI
Air Canada Jazz will add two flights between Baltimore-Washington International Airport and Toronto beginning July 7.
The additional flights are in response to heavy advance bookings on the airline's new regional jet service.
With the new schedule, Air Canada Jazz will offer four daily flights with 50-seat Canadair Regional Jets and two daily flights with Dash 8-100s, which seat 37 passengers.
US Airways will discontinue service between BWI and Toronto on July 1.
Air Canada Jazz provides scheduled service to more than 75 destinations in Canada and the United States.

The Transportation Security Administration has established a hot line and an e-mail address for questions and complaints from customers.

The Transportation Security Administration is responsible for security in all modes of transportation. It is in the process of establishing federal security operations in the nation's commercial airports. The agency, which screens passengers and carry-on luggage at BWI, will deploy federal personnel, including passenger screeners and law enforcement officers, to all airports by Nov. 19.

Lane shift on Elm Road scheduled for June 17
Travelers driving to BWI next week should be aware of a lane shift on Elm Road starting June 17. The change is expected to remain until August.
The road will be narrowed to one lane to allow cranes and equipment to maneuver for construction on an airport parking garage. One lane will remain open at all times on Elm Road. Drivers heading to the airport terminal and parking garage should use Interstate 195. Only customers returning rental cars need use Elm Road.
The pedestrian bridge at Pier D also is scheduled to close this week. Entrances to the terminal at Pier D have been closed. Passengers should use the bridge at Pier C or the tunnel on Level 1 of the garage to enter the terminal.
