A few laughs just might be what the doctor ordered

Habeas Corpus, a farce by British playwright Alan Bennett (author of The Madness of George III and 40 Years On), opens tomorrow at the Vagabond Players.

Patrick Martyn directs this 1973 comedy of mistaken identities and sexual shenanigans, set in and around the Sussex home of a philandering physician and his wife. Michael Styer and Linda Chambers head the cast as Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Wicksteed.

Show times at the Vagabond, 806 S. Broadway, are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays, with an additional 7 p.m. performance on June 30; through July 7. Tickets are $12. For more information, call 410-563-9135.
