Two women killed, man injured in crash on I-695 in Essex
ESSEX -- Two women were killed about 2:10 a.m. yesterday when an Essex man driving on Interstate 695 near Route 702 crossed a grassy median and slammed into their vehicle, according to Maryland State Police.
The victims were identified as Rosina Jane Elliott, 26, of the 2100 block of Vailthorne Road in Essex and Jamarri Antonia Hagans, also 26, of the 1700 block of E. Lombard St. in Baltimore, said Sgt. Steven Seipp of the state police Golden Ring barracks.
The driver of the other vehicle, David Michael Kosiorek of the 1100 block of Sandystone Road in Essex, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for chest pains and internal injuries and later released, Seipp said.
The state's attorney's office is reviewing the incident, police said.

Interstate 83 closures planned for today
Baltimore's Office of Transportation plans to close the southbound exit from Interstate 83 to Cold Spring Lane and the entrance ramp to southbound I-83 from Cold Spring Lane from 7 p.m. today to 7 a.m. tomorrow, weather permitting.
The city also plans to close the northbound exit ramp from I-83 to Northern Parkway and the entrance ramp from Northern Parkway to northbound I-83 from 7 p.m. tomorrow to 7 a.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
In addition, two lanes of westbound Route 40 will be closed from 64th Street to Monument Street, with one lane remaining open, beginning from 7 p.m. tomorrow to 5 a.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
Dundalk man fatally shot on Oak Hill Avenue
A Dundalk man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds early yesterday in the 1900 block of Oak Hill Ave. in East Baltimore.
Eddie Fogg, 42, of the first block of Calvin Hill Court was shot several times with a semiautomatic handgun about 1:25 a.m., said Officer Troy J. Harris, a police spokesman.
He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died a short time later, Harris said. Police have not established a motive.
