Tayman boarding pets of victims of domestic violence
David Tayman, owner of Columbia Animal Hospital and a member of the board of the Domestic Violence Center, is boarding pets of domestic violence victims until their owners can find new homes. The service is part of a program called PetSafe that Tayman began several years ago.
Tayman, who hopes to create a larger facility for the service, has established a network of area veterinarians who provide discounted or free care to pets of people with AIDS. He is a founder of the Howard County Pets on Wheels program.
