Robbery: A man with a gun accosted a cashier at the CVS store in the 5200 block of York Road at 10:45 p.m. Monday. The cashier gave the robber the contents of the register -- more than $300, police said.
Robbery: A man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt passed a note to the cashier at the CVS store in the 4600 block of Falls Road at 1 p.m. Tuesday and stole an undisclosed sum.
Burglary: A computer system valued at $2,000 was stolen from a Johns Hopkins University building in the 800 block of Wyman Park Drive sometime before 8:50 a.m. Tuesday by an intruder who forced open a door.
Burglary: Five men went through an open side door and stole several cases of beer from Rapscallion's Pub at 3100 Dillon St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: A white Ford pickup truck belonging to Codd Fabricators was stolen sometime before 6:45 a.m. Tuesday by an intruder who cut a hole into the roof of a garage in the 700 block of S. Caroline St.
Larceny: The owner of a Volvo parked in the 300 block of S. Charles St. reported at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday that somebody had broken into its rear passenger-side window and taken a Dell laptop computer and a Sony Walkman.
Burglary: A burglar broke into a vacant home under renovation in the 4600 block of White Ave. sometime before 11:25 a.m. Monday and stole items including two saws, a drill and a ladder. The loss was estimated at $752.
Arson: Someone set fire to a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix parked in the 2700 block of E. Baltimore St. about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Robbery: A woman, 31, was waiting for a bus on Liberty Road at Flannery Lane about 11 a.m. Tuesday when a man approached her from behind, asking for change. He punched her twice, took her purse and ran.
Theft/assault: A man suspected of shoplifting a coat from Value City on Baltimore National Pike fled after pointing a handgun at a store security officer who had followed him out the door shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Robbery: A gunman displayed a handgun to a teller and robbed the Allfirst Bank branch in the 100 block of Chartley Drive of an undisclosed amount of cash about 1 p.m. Tuesday. He was described as black, 5-feet-8 and 160 pounds, wearing a purple Ravens jacket, a dark blue bandana and a baseball hat.
Larceny: A computer, printer and scanner were stolen from a home in the 8000 block of Church Lane by someone who entered through an unlocked front window. The break-in was discovered about 11 a.m. Tuesday
Burglary: A 2001 Yamaha four-wheel all-terrain vehicle valued at $6,600 was stolen from a garage in the 200 block of Wampler Road between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday.
