Missing Laurel girl, 17, is returned to her family

A 17-year old Laurel girl who was reported missing by her father this week has been found, Anne Arundel County police said yesterday.

Shannon L. King had been reported missing Sunday after she failed to show up for work or return home Saturday night. Police received a tip Wednesday that she might be at a motel, said Officer Charles Ravenell, a county police spokesman. Police did find the teen-ager at a motel about 2:30 p.m., unharmed, and they returned her to her family, Ravenell said.
