Travelex center has reopened in new location
Baltimore-Washington International Airport's Travelex Business Services Center at Pier C, which provides services for travelers that include wire transfers, foreign currency exchange and sending faxes, has relocated and reopened.
The Travelex counter is now behind the Pier C information desk on the upper-level, ticketing area of the terminal.
An additional Travelex counter is on the upper level of Pier E.
The change was made to expand and make improvements to the Pier C security-screening areas. When complete, improvements to the Pier C security checkpoint will increase the number of screening machines from four to six, helping to reduce lines.
Southwest Airlines expanded the security checkpoint at Pier B, increasing the number of screening machines from four to seven, in November. Additional improvements will be made at Pier D to increase the screening capacity at that checkpoint when construction is completed at Pier C.
