Key FG earns Stover AFC weekly award

Ravens kicker Matt Stover, who made the game-winning field goal in Sunday's 13-10 win in Pittsburgh, was named AFC special teams Player of the Week.

Stover converted his second field goal of the game - a 39-yarder with 1:49 left - to break a 10-10 tie with the Central Division-leading Steelers. The Ravens then watched Pittsburgh kicker Kris Brown miss his fourth attempt of the game to seal the win.

"It's not the volume of kicks, but it's when you do it," Ravens coach Brian Billick said. "It's the impact that the kick has on the game."

Stover extended his league record by making a field goal in his 34th straight game.

Injury report

The Ravens have six players listed as questionable on the injury report, but running back Terry Allen (sprained left ankle) and nickel back James Trapp (strained groin) appear to be the biggest concerns. The Ravens' longest list of questionable players coincidentally occurs leading up to the game vs. the Titans, who traditionally stack their injury report.

Tennessee, though, will be without defensive tackle John Thornton (season-ending shoulder surgery). He is the Titans' fourth prominent defensive player to be lost for the season.
