Thumbs up: Ravens kicker Matt Stover, by default. He put himself in the NFL record books by kicking a field goal in his 32nd consecutive game.

Thumbs down: Ravens offensive line. The group caved in against the Browns' front seven. The Ravens allowed seven sacks, and their lack of protection forced quarterback Elvis Grbac out of a second straight game.

Stat of game: 10 - Points scored off the Ravens' three turnovers. For the season, opponents have converted Ravens' miscues into 55 points.

Quotable: "We're not playing very well and we're kind of looking for things to go wrong. When you look for that, it will go wrong. But I've got a lot of confidence in this football team, and we'll find a way to get this thing righted because we really don't have a choice." - Ravens tight end Shannon Sharpe.

Trainer's room: Grbac (rib contusion) was injured on a sack in the second half's opening series and forced out of the game with 5 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter. Chest X-rays were negative, and he is considered day-to-day. Running back Terry Allen (sprained left ankle) left after the Ravens' fourth offensive play and did not return. He also is day-to-day.
