The Glenwood library, 2350 Route 97, Cooksville, will sponsor a talk by author Barbara Feaga, principal author and compiler of a recently published book, "Howard's Roads to the Past," from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 21.

The library will hold a summer reading kickoff called "Magical Bugs!" for children ages 4 and older with an adult from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Turner, Dean of Magic, will perform. Registration is required.
Bugs will be the theme for the Howard County Library's summer reading game, "Buggy About Reading." Children and young people may register at the library, complete a series of reading activities and win prizes.
All-Chevy Car Show scheduled for June 10
Late Great Chevys of Maryland Car Club will sponsor its eighth All-Chevy Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10 at Win Kelly Chevrolet at Routes 32 and 108 in Clarksville.
The show is open to stock and modified Chevrolet cars and trucks from 1955 through 1972. More than 50 trophies will be awarded. Admission for spectators is free.
Registration - $10 a car to show - will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Admission is free to spectators. Hot dogs and soda will be provided. Proceeds will be donated to charities.

Graduates: Navy Lt. Evan A. Hipsley Jr., son of Evan A. and Joan P. Hipsley of Sykesville, has received a master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif. His wife, Navy Lt. Cmdr. Susan K. Cerousky, also received a master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.
