Theft from vehicle: A backpack, laptop computer, handheld computer and digital camera were stolen from a 1990 Chevrolet in a parking garage in the 700 block of Aliceanna St. late Friday or early Saturday. The items were valued at $1,500.
Burglary: Cash totaling $300 was taken from a house in the first block of S. Broadway on Saturday afternoon. The thief entered through an unlocked door.
Theft from vehicle: A vacuum cleaner, valued at $50, was taken from a 1993 Chevrolet parked outside a residence in the 1900 block of Bank St. between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Commercial breaking and entering: About 4 a.m. Saturday, a front window at New Release Video, in the 3700 block of E. Baltimore St., was broken. A thief entered and stole $215 in cash.
Stolen vehicle: A 1994 gray Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with gold bumpers and Maryland tags M533003 was stolen in the 3200 block of Fleet St. about 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Theft: An air-conditioning unit worth $2,000 was taken from the back yard of a house in the first block of W. Randall St. about 5 p.m. Saturday.
Burglary: A black purse containing $90 and other personal items was taken after someone broke a kitchen window and entered a house in the 300 block of Taplow Road between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Burglary: Items worth $1,075 - including $100 in coins, ski boots, a disk drive, a clock radio and video games - were taken from a residence in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Theft from vehicle: Between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday, someone took a black leather briefcase, a camera, a television set and a $2,100 Sony camcorder from a Toyota parked in the 2300 block of N. Howard St. The doors had been left unlocked.
Stolen vehicle: A 1993 white four-door Dodge Spirit, Virginia tags HP120285, was stolen from the 3000 block of Fallstaff Manor Court between Friday night and 2 a.m. Saturday.
Arson: A 1997 Nissan Maxima with Maryland tags was set on fire at 3 a.m. Thursday in the 3100 block of Liberty Heights Ave. The Fire Department determined it was deliberately set. The fire began after someone poured flammable liquid inside the car and ignited it.
Theft: A Motorola radio was taken from the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department, 5200 Southwestern Blvd., between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Burglary: A door in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive was kicked in between 10:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, and a chain, a ring, a CD player and a watch were taken.
Burglary: The front door of a home on Dowling Circle was left unlocked all day on Thursday and a DVD player and a change bank was missing when the family returned home.
