Drug arrest: Detective Peter Sullivan of the district's drug enforcement unit was at West Lanvale and Poplar Grove streets Tuesday and saw a man allegedly in possession of narcotics and seized 20 vials of cocaine from him. Anthony Sheridan, 40, of the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Drug arrest: Police arrested a man and seized four plastic baggies of cocaine and $49 after they saw him allegedly selling cocaine Tuesday in the 100 block of N. Monastery Ave. Charles Hannah, 26, of the 100 block of Allendale Road was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Burglary: Several pieces of European antique jewelry -- all valued at more than $86,000 -- were stolen from a house in the 800 block of W. 40th St. between March 25 and Tuesday. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.
Burglary: An antique silver tea pot and $500 in coins -- all valued at more than $5,000 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of Argonne Drive.
Theft: The driver of a green fuel truck entered a city-owned fuel facility Tuesday in the 1300 block of Chesapeake Ave. and took nearly 700 gallons of new heating oil valued at about $1,000. The man told city employees he was there to remove waste oil.
Assault: Two teen-age males kicked a pregnant woman, 18, and squirted her with a water pistol Tuesday in the 2800 block of Ulman Ave. One assailant displayed what appeared to be a real gun. The victim refused medical treatment for minor injuries, and warrants were pending against one attacker, whom she knows.
Robbery: A woman, 55, and her daughter were in front of their home in the 1700 block of Guilford Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday when one of two men asked the mother for money. When she said she had none, one of the men pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and robbed her of $30 and the daughter of $6.
Burglary: A coin collection valued at $23,000 was stolen Monday from a house in the 400 block of Rodgers Court. Entry might have been gained by someone using a house key that was lost or stolen earlier.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Pleasant Hill Road on Tuesday through a dog door and stole a laptop computer and jewelry.
Theft from vehicle: A jacket, cash and a vehicle anti-theft device -- all valued at more than $230 -- were stolen Tuesday from a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck parked in the 7700 block of Harford Road.
Theft: A man stole nearly $152 worth of cigarettes Sunday from the Royal Farms store in the 2700 block of Taylor Ave.
