The Gophers improved to 6-1 with the win. The Scots were playing their opener.
Goucher held a 20-1 halftime lead and never looked back. Qadir Stern and Clay Ulman scored five goals each for the Gophers.
Goucher's 27 goals tied a school record and its 18 assists set a school record.
Women
Amherst 9, Salisbury State 7: Sarah Scheessele led the Jeffs (2-0) with three goals and Allison Aldrich scored two in a comeback victory over the host Sea Gulls (4-3).
Amherst outscored Salisbury State, 6-1, in the second half to rally from a three-goal halftime deficit. Jen Mezzadra led the Sea Gulls with two goals and three assists.
Loyola 18, Richmond 8: Suzanne Eyler scored five goals and Lauren Peck added four and an assist to lead the Greyhounds over the host Spiders in a Colonial Athletic Association game.
After Richmond jumped out to a 2-0 lead, the Greyhounds held the Spiders scoreless for the final 20 minutes of the first half and netted four goals to take a 9-4 advantage into intermission.
St. Mary's 10, Catholic 9: The Seahawks improved to 6-0 behind three goals each from Sue Welsh and Meg McFall in a Capital Athletic Conference game.
Catholic erased a 6-1 halftime deficit, tying the game at 7 midway through the second half.
