An article by Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. that appeared on the Opinion* Commentary page Feb. 26 stated erroneously that comedian Bill Cosby fathered a child he "never knew." The child was identified in a court case as Autumn Jackson. "Mr. Cosby is not the father of Autumn Jackson nor has he fathered any children out of wedlock," said his publicist, Joel Brokaw. Mr. Pitts issued a correction in a subsequent column.
