Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man, 28, was walking toward his car in the 3500 block of Reisterstown Road about 11 a.m. Wednesday when a gunman tried to rob him. During a struggle, the victim was shot in the abdomen and was later treated at Sinai Hospital. The gunman escaped.

Central District

Drug raid/arrest: Drug enforcement unit police armed with a search & seizure warrant entered an apartment Wednesday in the 1200 block of N. Calvert St. and seized 10 pounds of suspected marijuana, 14 ounces of suspected cocaine, morphine pills, synthetic drugs, a 12-gauge shotgun and three handguns, one of which had been stolen, said Officer Mark Lunsford. Charged with possession of suspected narcotics with intent to distribute and illegal possession of firearms was Samuel Gompers,23, of the Calvert Street address, who was already in custody for an unrelated drug incident.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: An employee of Taco Bell in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. was about to enter Bank of America in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Wednesday to deposit the firm's money when a gunman robbed him of an undisclosed sum. The gunman escaped in a car driven by a second man.
