Shooting: Milton Moore, 44, of the 200 block of Dallas Court in Southeast Baltimore, was found shot in the head and body and slumped behind the wheel of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee in the 2900 block of Rockrose Ave. about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Moore was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was reported in critical condition yesterday. No arrest had been made and no motive was known.
Theft: Someone entered the junior varsity locker room Saturday at Cardinal Gibbons High School in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. while two semi-professional football teams were using the school's athletic fields and stole Gibbons football equipment valued at $1,700. The theft was reported Tuesday.
Guns stolen: A Smith & Wesson 9 mm semiautomatic handgun and a .22 caliber revolver, all valued at $900, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2100 block of N. Forest Park Ave.
Stabbing: A man, 38, was in the 900 block of N. Durham St. about 4 p.m. Tuesday when an unknown man stabbed him in the left arm and abdomen with a large knife. Yesterday, the victim was in fair condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Shooting: Police were seeking a man known as "Lance" who left a blue car early Tuesday in the 1000 block of N. Wolfe St. and shot a man, 33, in the lower back. The gunman then drove off. After the shooting, the victim ran to his mother's house in the 1000 block of N. Durham St., where police found him and called an ambulance. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Burglary: A mountain bicycle and a cellular phone were stolen from a garage in the 500 block of Greenwood Road on Saturday. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Man identified: Baltimore County police yesterday identified Carroll Edward Podles, 53, of the 1700 block of Beachwood Road in Essex, as the man who died Sunday evening after the pickup truck he was driving on Evergreen Lane struck a tree and burst into flames.
